Council Minutes

The mundane end of the Shire of Darton
 
Every month Darton conducts a Council meeting. The Council consists of the Officers of the Shire, those people listed as contacts. They conduct the business of the Shire. Each officer reports on their area, for example the Reeve reports on the financial status of the group, the Marshal on the combat status of the group, etc. Bids for events are recieved, and reports made on these events leading up to and following the event.
 
Anyone may attend and be heard at a Council meeting. Council meetings are usually chaired by the Seneschal (President) of the group.
 
You need to be a member of SCANZ Inc. to be an Officer, but you don't have to be one to come along to meetings.

Running events
 
If you want to run an event for the Shire, you will need to be a SCANZ Inc. member and place a bid to Council to run the event.
There is currently a process underway to introduce basic documents to assist Stewards who are running events for the Shire. If you are interested in participating please contact the Seneschal.
