Council meeting 09th April, 2016

Meeting opened 7.20

Seneschal:
Very quiet - still have all the wheels!

Reeve:
No income, no outgoings for this month.
Kiwibank account balance $3619.39
End of financial year report done

Marshal:
No injuries, fighting continues

Captain of Archers:
4 new people should be coming to DA
Council is still happy for us to use the park.

Was awesome! Thanks Stephen and Tam for hosting.

DA (Selwyn):
Budget accepted. Need to find A&S judges for the various catagories. Going to put an ad in Pegasus which will hit the Announce list. Lots of new people interested. Trying to get a couple of senior members of the Brewers Guild to come to the event (Maybe Rohesia, Drakey?)


Collegium:
9&10 July. Anna is going to deputise in case my brain falls out my ears due to wedding.
$12/adult, break even at 17 adults. No feast as DA will follow shortly afterwards.
Churton Park Community Centre, 10.15-6 on SAturday, 9-12.30 Sunday.
Proposed to accept by Selwyn, seconded Richard.

General Business:
Richard (Correct me if I'm wrong, didn't make a note of who suggested this) suggested we book the site for DA a year in advance to get the dates we want.

Selwyn has been using a lot of his own gear for archery on Sundays, and would like around $400 for archery supplies for the Shire. Asked to provide an exact figure, but it'll be spent on:
2 x 12 target arrows
2 x target backs
some target faces
repair equipment - fletching glue, fletchings, etc.
This was approved pending exact costs.

NOTE: Your friendly local Seneschal was very sick this meeting, hence the brevity.

After meeting thoughts from the Seneschal (who is feeling much better):
-I am slack, haven't written up "useful stuff bag" ideas. No luck locating the Shire first aid kit, hopefully the Great Organise will turn it up
-There will be a Great Organise at some point - our lovely Quartermaster may need a hand to rationalise Shire stuff. Details to come when it happens.
-Collegium site paid for. Need classes!
-Tallulah may not visit until later this year/another time. I am still keen for an illumination workshop, she will get back to me with possible dates.
