Helen going away in two weeks, back 13th September -Marshal No one is dead, heavy has been on hold this month but rapier continues. New fighter, maybe, yay! -Captain of Archers Archery happens. People are having fun. 8 people in the line last week! Lots of members from other medieval groups turning up, may be looking at more people for DA. Site is better drained since renovations it. Clout shoot went well, safe and fun. Once the weather improves we have more options for mixed comabat, kids, etc. *Events - Book soon, book often DA 5-7 August. Bernard. 25 ish people have booked. Book! Keep the cooks happy and book! Luan to run archery stuff. It would be nice to have some judges *pointed looks at laurels* Timetable to come. Want to run moot on Saturday night - it would be nice for the officers to have a short happy report. Need to remind current champion about passing it on to next person. Járnulfr arrow. See the website for more information. Train Festival in Featherston Sancha would like us to be present at the Train Festival 3rd September - 10-3. She feels we have a good opportunity for recruitment and retention with this event as a show and a follow up of Stefanos feast later in the year. Luan suggested maybe a shoot-a-knight if there is a safe space available. As I will be out of the country in September, someone else will need to organise a presence at this event. Collegium feedback and discussion: (From the steward) Site was lovely, not a huge or versatile kitchen for our needs but clean and new and site staff were very communicative. Still need to finalise paperwork - I made the last deposit today and need to reimburse a couple of people. Thank you Jennet for deputising, and thank you very much to all those who ran classes. Next time I will have a printed timetable, more access to the facilities (or more clarity on what we'll have access to, but to give the site its dues I spoke to a relief staff member not the full timer when I had my site orientation.) A few attendees said they enjoyed themselves which I count as a win. (To the steward) It would have been nice to have some separate space for further discussion/crafting outside of classes. *General Business -container at CF - no word on costs yet, this is a placeholder for future discussion. Tabled for future meetings. Meeting closed 7.45
