Otherwise training continues with no incidents to report.

Archery happened at DA - much fun was had - no one got shot or had any issues.
Járnulfr kicked all our asses and won both his arrow and the hunt.



*Events

Darton Anniversary happened - we made $1600. Can spend more money on food next time. Fun was had, two payments to come.

Featherston Cross Creek Festival happened. Weather wasn't great so we were moved inside. Sancha and Marienna has plans for a transalpine craft evening, maybe with the steampunk folks

Sword and archery symposium (non SCA) last weekend in October. Including two archery masters! Book now!


Possible event - Luan wants to put forward a bid for Nov Crown 2019. He will bring forth some ideas to council in the future.

Possibility of fundraising shoot a knight at Thornton Faire in Dec. Also Karori Carnival in Feb

Fiora has offered to do heraldry stuff, speak to your friendly local or SG herald to submit!

Madeleine proposes we spend $1000.00 to get a third of a container at CF as previously discussed and minuted.
This proposal was seconded by Kjartan. There were no objections so passed unanimously.

Canvas has been purchased and has arrived. Need to set a sewing date.

Post meeting notes - Last councils minutes incorrectly had the closing account balance for August as $4419.89. This is incorrect - the minutes should have showed a closing balance of $4591.89.
