Thanks to all for being amazing. Darton is a great group and I'm very lucky to be able to take the credit.
Bernard wants to be herald.
Pay Asbjorn -$50 more as he spent more on the sunshade frame than originally budgeted. Madeleine raised, Kjartan seconded, all agreed.
$1000 limit for sunshade was at August 2017 minutes, facebook/email messages bumped that up $200, plus this spend = $1250 total approved.

General: quiet start to the year.
Much payment to happen - we need to reimburse Asbjorn for sunshade framing, and SCANZ for the container.

Not much rapier and heavy, archey happened. No injuries. Heavy will start on Wednesdays as well as Sundays.

     -Captain of Archers - Luan
Small but regular attendance! Planning to run garbed IKAC regularly.
The Shire targets are getting a little old - they have 3-6 months in them.

    - Scribal warden - Járnulfr.
Max is warranted, Bernard is warranted, Kazamera is warranted, Járnulfr is warranted. Paints received. We should do a thing (not a&s nights). Could do a scriptorium day.

St sebs on 2-4 March, bookings are open!

Fundraising shoot a knight at Karori Karnival is this Sunday! $50 needed for stall hire. Madeleine proposed we spend the $50 for stall hire, Luan seconded, no objections. Setup from 8.30 at Ben Burn park.

Asbjorn is proposing to run an event in Easter. In the paddock at the family farm. Need to hire a portaloo. Cold showers only due to site restrictions.
Proposed charge $20 for an adult, free for kids under 18 and full time student, plus event levies.
Organise you own tents and food. Power, water, toilets, space and possibly fire provided.
Madeleine is happy for this to be an official event. 
Darton Easter Camp 29 March - 2 April, 2018
The proposed event will be held in one of the paddocks at the Forest property in Carterton. The paddock has a clean water tap, there will be power available and there will be a portaloo available. We can also provide a shower head if people want a cold shower. The region is moist but still under fire restrictions. I will apply for a fire permit so we can do open fire cooking. I have bricks, metal tripods,a grid, and some firewood so we can do cooking over open fire. Cost for the event Portaloo rental $92 (plus cleaning fee if not clean $40) Hose and garden shower head, $50 Optional: Warm shower heater. $350 SCA Levy: $1 Non member fee, $2 Proposed charge: $20 per adult. Kids under 18 or full time students, free (apart from levies, max $3). I have one portaloo on order for the weekend. Depending on numbers, we may need one more. Therefore, it is important that people book early. The loos are expected to be gone in just a few weeks. Our house will be off limit due to our sewage system being broken. As such, our toilets and showers are out of bounds. Organizer Family Forest
Saturday the proto hamlet of the Wairarapa will be hosting.


Day of fun: 17/18 March. Can do heraldry shields, eyelets for the old sunshade, archery stuff including a clout shoot.

Canterbury faire was good - safe travels by all. The sunshade was amazing, thank you to everyone for the hours put into it.
We should put more holes in the sides of the current sunshade so we can use them as walls.

Southeron Gaard is having a Baronial anniversary - 30th March to the 1st April 2018. Unfortunately same weekend as the local event.

Madeleine would like a collegium to happen this year. Queens birthday 4th June? September? July?

Crown tournament may 2019?
There was some discussion over the May 2019 tournament. Madeleine has asked that people talk to her and collaborate to get one good idea which we can run with.

DA is booked for 26th August. Someone get me a bid.
