Looking for a deputy to take over at Canterbury faire. Advertised Monday, applications close 28th. No commentary required, but for the application for CF I'll need a full application + commentary.

General:
Doomsday report was submitted on time on 15 April - no response from Australia so I assume all is ok
Need to reimburse for Easter camp.

Fencers there is a new rapier manual, see email posted to the Darton list for details. Changes include new RBG rules and additional hand protection requirements (which for the most part fencers in our group already meet or exceed).

As no one has informed me otherwise I will assume there has been no excessive maiming at trainings in the last month.

     -Captain of Archers - Luan
Archery happens. Competition once a month will be the weekend before Hamlet day.
Please talk to Luan about applying as new Captain of archers.

    - Scribal warden - Járnulfr.
Nothing to report. Will teach a calligraphy course at Gildenwick Collegium.

Darton Anniversary, Anno Societatis LII 24-26 August, at Brookfields, Wainuiomata
$80 pp. Children 12 and under $60, children under 5 $30 (to cover accommodation).

Madeleine would like a collegium to happen this year. Queens birthday 4th June? September/October July?
Robyn is willing to put together a bid, but needs to know who wants to teach so she can figure out if it's a one day or more event.

Luan has a silly idea. AFTER sword symposium, run a costume symposium. As an SCA event.
Are people interested? Yes. Knowne world costume symposium? 2020 or later.

Gordon found offcuts of neoprene for cheap, good for armouring. See him for sizes/source.
