There has been training with no incidents. A few people have travelled to events for martial events, again no injuries.

Archery is continuing. The weather is getting better. First Sunday a month will be tournament thing. Ildahfn are now using Darton patented targets and are very happy with hem.

Haven't heard from the West about the badge. Discussing with Astrolabe how to get it, and when to just register the alternate.

Sword symposium 2019 is in the works!

Newlands has a community day (neighbours day) on the 17th of March. Same weekend as St Sebastians, so thanks but no thanks. -Caitriona

Karori Karnival has asked if we want to go back. Due to safety issues with the high wind, we'll say thanks but no thanks.

Thorndon Faire, 2nd of December. If we haven't heard from parliamentary security by the 25th we'll pull the plug from our end.
It will be more full on than the Karori Karnival so we'd need all hands on deck.

Marienna and Luan have been plotting about candelabras.
Usb powered options take about 7 hours to recharge
Mains power options $170-ish for the globes (9 watts each, so could run off a car battery)
Marienna is keen to make it pretty.
Madeleine proposes we spend up to $200 on the bits, Bernard seconds, no objections.

Luan is going to start planning known world costume syposium in about 5 months. Big international event. 2020. Pre 1650 costume.
World con is also in 2020
World heraldry and scriby symposium around worldcon as well, be aware.
