Potential loss of frypans (post meeting addendum - most kitchen gear recovered. the Shire lost a can opener and a packet of bamboo skewers. Many thanks to Luan and Robyn for heading to Brookfields to retrieve the gear)

Collegium: $491 (a couple of payments made in Oct, so event monies will be finalised next Council)

Due to an incident that occurred there is a hold on pig sticking activities for Equestrian while the kingdom martial assesses the incident report.
Also from 3rd party details it sounds like two handed swords are banned from rapier melay. Awaiting official confirmation on this item though this hasn't come down through the martial channels.


    -Captain of Archers - Luan
Archery is continuing. The weather is getting better. First Sunday a month will be tournament thing.


   - Scribal warden - Járnulfr.
Nothing to report. Keeping in touch with the college.


   - Herald - Bernard
Name and device for Johanna, Badge for Luan. Yay!
Haven't heard from the West about the badge. Discussing with Astrolabe how to get it, and when to just register the alternate.

Sword symposium 2019 is in the works!

Newlands has a community day (neighbours day) on the 17th of March. Same weekend as St Sebastians. - Catherine

Karori Karnival has asked if we want to go back. Due to safety issues with the high wind, we'll say thanks but no thanks.

Scouts (wainui/hutt/upper hutt) 10th November. Archery gear/display

Thorndon Faire, 1st or 8th of December - Luan should know in two weeks if we have the spot.
It will be more full on than the Karori Karnival last year so we'd need all hands on deck.

Marienna and Luan have been plotting about candelabras.
Thought at the moment is to talk to Diego and get him to wire up 8x led 'candles' per chandelier on mains power for $200ish
Alternative is usb powered led. Not as reliable, usb ones are double the price.
People seem keen/not fussed.

There is dirt cheap canvas in Germany at the moment. We should investigate.

Luan is going to start planning known world costume syposium in about 6 months. Big international event. 2020. Pre 1650 costume
World con is also in 2020
World heraldry and scriby symposium around worldcon as well, be aware
